Training

 

Training programs are delivered on, or offshore, depending on the type of program.  These programs strictly comply

with the following standards and regulations;

 

  • Canadian Occupational Health and Safety Regulations

  • CSA Mobile Crane Z-150 98 Standards

  • American Petroleum Institute (API Standards)

  • Det Norske Veritas (DNV Standards)
  • The competitive standing of the Norwegian offshore sector. (NORSOK Standards)

  • American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME Standards)

  • Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP)

  • Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Offshore Petroleum Board (C-NLOPB)

  • UK Offshore Health and Safety Regulations

  • Offshore Mechanical Handling Equipment Committee (OMHEC Standards)

     

 

All of our instructors have relevant industry experience, and are Certified Offshore Crane Operators or Licensed Red

Seal Mobile Crane Operators.  Instructors also possess Post Secondary Teaching Certification.  This ensures that

programs are current, instructors are very knowledgeable, and sessions are delivered in a professional manner.  Our

offshore instructors have Basic Survival Training (BST) and are fully qualified to deliver programs and evaluations in an

offshore environment.
